Open Government Licence — Canada 2.0
OGL-Canada 2.0
Compatibility
Which other licences in the catalogue this one combines cleanly with — and which combinations produce share-alike propagation, attribution-stack accumulation, or outright incompatibility.
OGL-Canada 2.0 is the de-facto compatible Canadian federal counterpart to CC BY 4.0 (id 1) — the licences are mutually compatible for data combination, with OGL-Canada attribution and CC BY attribution both required where data from each licence is combined.
Compatible with the Open Government Licence — UK (id 10), the New Zealand Government framework (id 11), and the Italian and French government licences (ids 13, 14) — all of which were drafted for cross-licence compatibility.
Combining OGL-Canada data with ODbL-licensed data (id 7) is permitted, but the combined work carries the ODbL share-alike obligation.

Compatibility is a working-summary rather than a legal opinion. For a specific combination decision in a real project, consult the original licence texts and a lawyer with subject-matter familiarity. CLIPol is a reference, not a substitute for advice.
